These are made from some quite exotic coins. My friend from Nepal brought these home for me. The writing in the squares basically says the name and titles of the king who was massacred about ten years ago. The symbols include grain, a staff, the sun, a conch shell and more. These are some of the symbols for the land of Nepal and for power in their culture. The metal appears to be brass and they have quite a nice shimmer to them while looking just aged enough to be interesting.
In real life they have the exact same color.
These really are a great purchase for formal and non-formal settings and will set you apart for sure.
